Judith Kerr event
We were delighted to welcome Judith Kerr at a special inter-generational event we organised at the London Jewish Cultural Centre on Sunday 29 June.
As well as reading from The Tiger Who Came to Tea and an excerpt from When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, Judith spoke about her experiences as a former refugee providing a real insight into her life before, during and after the Second World War, as part of the interview she gave to Julia Eccleshare. She also took questions from the audience.
We were also delighted that Martha Richler, the well-known cartoonist, could be with us on the day to give the younger generations some tips to help their art skills. Martha, or Marf as she is known, is the daughter of Mordechai Richler, the acclaimed Canadian author and screenwriter.
