The AJR is recruiting

We are now recruiting for four full-time positions and one part time position, listed below, in our social services department to assist our members with a range of social, welfare, care and financial help.

We are seeking three qualified and experienced social workers with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience, an administrative assistant and a coordinator to launch a project supporting volunteers who are visiting clients with memory loss, each with an interest and some knowledge of the Jewish community and an awareness of the Holocaust.

With an ability to make clear concise assessments and recommendations, applicants for the social work positions must be able to develop trusting relationships and demonstrate empathy, sensitivity and respect when supporting our members.

The administrative assistant will help to ensure the smooth running of the social services department, including the organisation and development of systems and departmental procedures and provide direct assistance to social workers.

The coordinator will help launch this new project within the Volunteers Department which aims to give volunteer visitors and their clients a more meaningful experience.
