Introducing "Generation2Generation"

Generation2Generation is an online film archive of interviews between grandchildren and grandparents about their refugee or Holocaust survivor experience.

A new initiative of the Association of Jewish Refugees, Generation2Generation is capturing never previously recorded testimonies of refugees and Holocaust survivors in conversation with their grandchildren.

The archive will serve not only as a historical record, but as an educational tool, and to acknowledge the contribution refugees have made to the fabric of life in UK. Each film shows a grandchild interviewing their grandparent about the experience of being a refugee or survivor. Generation2Generation will remember past generations for the benefit of future generations; ensure these unique testimonies are not lost; share living histories first hand; chronicle the contribution that refugees have made to British life.

You can find out more about Generation2generation on the "AJRGeneration2Generation" Facebook page. You will also have the opportunity to see videos explaining this exciting project.
